UK national arrested over €300,000 cannabis import

A UK national was arrested over importing 15 kilos of cannabis after a Revenue seizure at Dublin Port, reported on 16 December 2013.

Revenue officers detained the person after a sniffer dog reacted to a vehicle arriving on a ferry from Holyhead. A mobile x-ray scan found the cannabis beneath a false floor, and gardaí continued their investigation.
