Two teenage boys sentenced for attempted oral rape

Two boys, then 15 and 14, pleaded guilty to attempted oral rape and sexual assault in Co Limerick on 6 February 2020; the older boy pleaded guilty to assault causing harm.

The Central Criminal Court imposed three years’ detention each, with 16 months in custody and the balance suspended (November 2022 record).
