Tony McAuliffe had a Personal Insolvency Arrangement approved by the High Court, reported on 6 March 2015. The arrangement covered liabilities of €10m, most of which was unsecured debt, and creditors were due to receive about one cent for each euro owed.
The arrangement was deemed approved after no creditor attended the meeting arranged the previous December. The court noted that Mr McAuliffe could contribute €314 monthly, alongside a €100,000 family loan, and said creditors would receive a better dividend than through bankruptcy.
