Ainsley Stevenson withdraws appeal against drug-smuggling sentence

Ainsley Stevenson, 27, had pleaded guilty to smuggling more than 30kg of cannabis through Dublin Airport in 2023.

The Court of Appeal permitted him to withdraw his appeal against his five-and-a-half-year sentence.
