This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

High Court proceedings against singer Sinead O'Connor brought by her former manager Fachtna O'Ceallaigh and his company over alleged breach of contract and defamation were resolved after talks. The hearing had been due to begin on 1 May 2019.

O'Connor denied that she had an agreement with TAL Management or O'Ceallaigh as alleged, or that they were entitled to damages. She also denied the defamation claim.

John Gordon SC, for O'Ceallaigh and TAL Management, told Ms Justice Aileen Donnelly that all matters had been resolved. No further settlement details were given in open court, and the judge adjourned the matter to November to allow implementation of the agreement.
