Simon Quilligan found guilty of firearm and threat offences

Simon Quilligan, 38, of Athlone, was found guilty of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life, making threats to kill or cause serious harm, and damaging property.

Quilligan was acquitted of attempted murder; the Central Criminal Court remanded him for sentencing March 9, in a case recorded in February 2021.
