Shane Craig received a fully suspended five-year sentence for possessing cocaine at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 25 March 2019. He had pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine worth €142,761 at Foxhill Park, Donaghmede, on 3 June 2015.
The sentence was subject to five years of engagement with the Probation Service and random drug testing. Judge Melanie Greally said the case could return to court if Craig relapsed into drug addiction, while noting that probation reports assessed him as at low risk of reoffending.
