Sean Quinn Junior seeks restored living expenses at High Court
This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.
Sean Quinn Junior sought the restoration of living expenses at the High Court on 29 January 2018. His wife, Karen Woods, was also involved in the application concerning payments of approximately €9,500 per month.
The couple brought the motion against Irish Banking Resolution Corporation and receivers appointed over their assets. Their counsel said payments had stopped, while the claims made against the bank and receivers were denied.
Mr Justice Brian McGovern adjourned the application to later that week so counsel for IBRC and the receivers could respond.
