Sean Dunne was seeking a hearing date for his application to set aside a High Court freezing order when the matter came before the court on 24 June 2021.
The order concerned the sale proceeds of two properties at Churchfields, Straffon, Co Kildare, near the K Club resort. One property had sold for approximately €1 million.
Dunne claimed the assets belonged to a trust and described the injunction as a fraud against him and the court. Traviata Ltd disputed the High Court’s jurisdiction and said it did not consider itself bound by the orders.
Mr Justice Senan Allen adjourned Traviata’s motion to a date the following month, with the temporary orders continuing.
