Samina Sajjad was remanded in custody after two new heroin charges were added at Dublin District Court. The proceedings were reported on 9 January 2019.

Sajjad had previously appeared in court charged with possessing heroin and possessing heroin for the purpose of sale or supply. The new charges alleged that she imported 13.69 kilos of heroin through Dublin Airport and involved a second charge of possession for sale or supply.
