A dispute over planning permission for 500 homes was adjourned after a court hearing on 16 July 2018. The proposal concerned 104 houses and 432 apartments on six playing pitches used by St Paul’s College in Raheny.
The judge put the matter back to Friday for submissions from the parties. An Bord Pleanála had accepted an error in granting permission and said it would consent to orders quashing that permission, while residents and an environmental campaigner opposed sending the matter back to the board for fresh consideration.
