Philip Disney and Sean Carlyle were sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering Vincent Parsons at the Central Criminal Court, reported on 13 January 2023.

Parsons was beaten on Killinarden Way in Tallaght after leaving a stag party on 24 August 2019; he died in hospital two days later.

The jury found both men guilty after a unanimous verdict, and Mr Justice Kerida Naidoo described the assault as pitiless and not spontaneous.
