Philip Disney and Sean Carlyle were sentenced to life imprisonment for murdering Vincent Parsons in Tallaght.

Mr Parsons had been at a friend’s stag party at the Killinarden Inn on 24 August 2019. After an interaction with Disney, he ran from the pub. The men followed him and caught up with him at a green on Killinarden Way, where they beat him. He died in hospital on 26 August 2019.

Mr Justice Kerida Naidoo said the assault was intensely violent and was not spontaneous. He said Mr Parsons offered no resistance and was left for dead.
