Peter Conlon’s case over alleged misappropriation of €3.8m in charity donations was adjourned before the court. The proceedings were reported on 11 February 2020. The liquidator’s proceedings concern the collapsed fundraising company Pembroke Dynamic and related entities.

Counsel for the liquidator said Conlon had missed an appointment to inspect documents and sought to progress the action, including a claim that he should be personally liable for company debts. His solicitor said he was in Munich and trying to return to Ireland for an inspection offered on 21 February. The court said the matter would move on if he failed to attend; an asset-freezing injunction remained in place. Conlon denied the claims and wanted the injunction lifted.
