This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Paul and Gerard Dormer lost their bid to overturn a €17.6 million judgment in court, reported on 26 February 2015. The brothers had argued that Allied Irish Banks breached a settlement agreement concerning credit facilities.

The judge rejected their arguments, ruled that the settlement terms were clear and lifted interim injunctions stopping receivers from dealing with or selling assets. The judgment could not be set aside because it had not been appealed and the brothers had not alleged fraud.
