Patrick Stokes receives seven-year sentence for multiple offences

Patrick Stokes, 31, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to robbery, assault causing harm and criminal damage.

He received seven years, with the final 12 months suspended, consecutive to a three-and-a-half-year sentence imposed in Laois the previous month.

The case was recorded in December 2023.
