Munir Ghariani given last chance over robbery

By Orla Quinn

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Munir Ghariani was given a final two-week chance over a robbery at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 28 June 2017.

The court had imposed a four-year sentence for the robbery, suspending the balance, but Judge Melanie Greally deferred the breach matter and warned Ghariani he would be jailed if he missed two weekly probation meetings.

Ghariani had pleaded guilty to robbing a woman on Granville Road, Cabinteely, on 21 March 2016. The court also heard he faced alleged breaches of the Sex Offenders Act over failures to notify authorities of his address.
