Muhammad Hussain had his sentence reduced for a child-sex offence at the Court of Appeal on 18 May 2015, receiving three years with the final nine months suspended.
He had been convicted after a ten-day jury trial in the Circuit Court of intentionally meeting or travelling to meet a child for the purpose of sexual exploitation. The appeal court said the offence was at the lower end of the gravity spectrum, but applied conditions including good behaviour and participation in relevant prison counselling if offered.
