This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Michael McKevitt, Colm Michael Murphy and Liam Campbell were adjudicated bankrupt over the Omagh bombing by the High Court on 11 March 2019. The court heard the three men had been found liable in a 2009 Belfast High Court civil action and had failed to pay damages sought by relatives of those killed. All of the defendants denied having any involvement in the bombing.

Ms Justice Teresa Pilkington said the requirements of the 1988 Bankruptcy Act had been met and that all three had been served with the relevant documents. The court heard demands had been made for each man to pay about €439,000. The bombing in 1998 killed 29 people, including nine children and a woman pregnant with twins.
