Maurice McCreesh was remanded in custody at Dublin District Court on 14 September 2015 after being charged with possessing cocaine with intent to supply.

About 15kg of cocaine worth more than €1 million was seized at Dublin Port from a lorry that travelled from Britain on 12 September 2015. McCreesh had not indicated how he would plead and was due to appear again on 18 September.
