Martin Joyce was jailed for two years, with the final year suspended, for dangerous driving causing serious bodily harm at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, reported on 20 November 2015. The offence occurred on the Malahide Road in Coolock, where Joyce drove through a red light and struck six-year-old Jennifer Casey.
