Martin Cully and Eugene Traynor were sentenced to seven years, partly suspended, for unlawful seizure at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, reported on 9 February 2018. The offence occurred at Old Connacht Avenue, Bray, Co Wicklow, on 15 June 2017.
The men had pleaded guilty after forcing a woman from her car and taking it. The final two years of Cully’s sentence and the final two and a half years of Traynor’s were suspended, subject to drug-free conditions and treatment programmes.
