Marius Radu received a fully suspended two-year sentence for six theft counts and two criminal-damage counts at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 17 May 2022. Judge Martin Nolan imposed the sentence.
Radu pleaded guilty to offences involving ATM card-trapping devices in Dublin between 27 January and 3 February 2016. The proceedings were reported on 17 May 2022.
The judge said it would be unjust to impose a further sentence because Radu had already received two years for similar offences. Defence counsel said Radu was studying and working as a driver, and had travelled back for sentencing.
