Unnamed 52-year-old Longford man jailed for sexual assault

An unnamed 52-year-old Longford man was found guilty of 52 sexual assault counts after a Central Criminal Court trial in Co Longford.

The court acquitted him on two counts and directed not-guilty verdicts on 10 others, then sentenced him to nine years in prison.

The case was recorded in April 2024.
