Four Limerick-based students were allowed to return to their rented property after a High Court ruling on 25 January 2018.
The house is at Lifford Park, South Circular Road, Limerick, and the order followed claims that the students had been told to leave.
Ms Justice Marie Baker extended an injunction directing the owner, Mrs Sinead O'Connor, to hand possession of the property to a bank-appointed receiver. The students had agreed to pay rent to the receiver, while Mrs O'Connor disputed the validity of the receiver's appointment.
The judge said the receiver's appointment was valid on the evidence before her, subject to another judge's decision at the full hearing. Rent was directed to be paid into an account and held in trust pending that hearing.
