Leroy Harris pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of cannabis and possessing it for sale or supply at Dublin District Court. The plea was to a cannabis dealing charge, and the proceedings were reported on 26 November 2013.
The cannabis, valued at €100, was connected to an incident at Sheriff Street, north inner city Dublin, on October 14. The court heard that gardaí searched Harris after he was seen putting a suspected drugs package down his trousers, and that he had two packets of cannabis. His solicitor, Cahir O’Higgins, said Harris had the cannabis for friends.
Judge Michael Walsh adjourned sentencing until a date in January and remanded Harris on continuing bail.
