Kyle Boland was jailed for three years at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for having cannabis for sale or supply. Judge Martin Nolan imposed the custodial sentence.

Boland pleaded guilty to the charge. The report said the cannabis was valued at €117,762; it also reported that he had agreed to transport the drugs for €500 to clear a drug debt and was, according to an accepted defence suggestion, doing someone else’s bidding.
