Koninklijke Capi-Lux Holding BV had its €50m airport contract challenge admitted to the Commercial Court list, reported on 9 April 2018.

The Dutch company challenged DAA’s award of an electronics retail contract at Dublin Airport’s Terminals 1 and 2. It claimed the tender process breached Irish and EU law, and sought to have the award quashed or reconsidered, alongside declarations and damages.

Mr Justice Brian McGovern also ordered Inmotion Entertainment Ltd, the successful bidder, to be added as a notice party. The proceedings were due to return before the court later that month.
