Kane Hull appeared at the High Court on 15 October 2021, wanted in connection with the murder or manslaughter of Ryan Kirkpatrick.

Kirkpatrick, 24, was fatally stabbed at Carlyle’s Court in Carlisle on 18 September 2021.

Hull, 28, was arrested by gardaí in County Mayo after being detained on an international arrest warrant.

The warrant also sought Liam Porter in connection with the same death; it separately accused Porter of assisting an offender.

A High Court judge set 22 October 2021 for the extradition hearing after Hull’s lawyer requested more time to lodge objections.
