Jordan Lee was jailed for two years for two counts of robbery at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, with Judge Orla Crowe sentencing him after his guilty plea.
The offences happened at Wellington Quay on 29 September 2022 after two teenagers declined an offer to buy drugs.
The report said Lee struck one teenager and stamped on his head, while his co-accused attacked the other victim; phones, a bank card and €10 were taken.
His defence said he did not know why he committed the offence, was living in a hostel, and wished to apologise; the guilty plea assisted gardaí.
Judge Crowe considered the early guilty plea, remorse, addiction issues and homelessness, and ordered the sentence to begin after Lee’s existing sentence expires in June 2023.
