John Kinsella injunction continued over alleged trespass

By Fionn Kelly

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

John Kinsella had a High Court injunction continued over alleged trespass on farmland on 19 April 2018. The land was at Lodgewood, Ferns, Co Wexford, where John B.Dockrell Ltd said it could not access about 150 acres. The company alleged Mr Kinsella entered without permission, ploughed the land and obstructed access. He was not in court and was not represented.

Ms Justice Carmel Stewart continued orders preventing Mr Kinsella from coming within 100 metres of the land and interfering with the company’s quiet enjoyment, pending the proceedings. The judge ruled that the orders applied to anyone with notice of them and returned the matter for later that month. The allegations had not been finally determined.
