John Buckley AKA Maughan was sentenced to five years in prison for harassment and extortion at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on 24 March 2023.

He pleaded guilty to sample counts among 94 charges involving four victims. The offences took place at locations across north County Dublin between January 2017 and August 2018.
