The Irish Countrywomen’s Association election dispute was adjourned by the High Court on 1 June 2018, after the association undertook not to destroy ballot papers.

Patricia Madden brought proceedings over alleged breaches of the association’s constitution and concerns about uncounted ballots from elections for national and executive positions. Ms Justice Carmel Stewart gave the ICA time to respond, with the matter adjourned until later in June.
