Inga Ozolina pleaded not guilty to murdering Audrius Pukas. The charge relates to his death at The Malthouse, Roscrea, Co Tipperary, on 20 November 2016. The proceedings were reported on 13 May 2019.

A jury at the Central Criminal Court was shown bloodstained clothing and bedding taken from the room where Mr Pukas’s body was found. Garda Larry Stapleton described stains on a yellow T-shirt, bathrobe, sheets and pillowcase. He said there had been a disturbance in the bedroom and that he did not find blood in any other area of the house.

The trial was continuing before Mr Justice Alexander Owens and a jury of seven men and five women.
