IEGP Management Company and JOM Investments Unlimited Company settled their service charge dispute, reported on 16 November 2021. The Commercial Court adjourned the matter later that month to implement the settlement terms.
The dispute concerned service charges at the Ivy Exchange on Parnell Street in Dublin. IEGP manages five apartment blocks and commercial premises there; JOM owns two commercial units occupied by a supermarket and a bookstore.
IEGP said it increased the charges to fund remediation of fire safety defects. JOM denied IEGP’s claim and said it was an attempt to fund legal costs in separate proceedings concerning alleged defects.
