GTLK Europe firms ordered wound up over insolvency

GTLK Europe DAC and GTLK Europe Capital DAC were ordered wound up by the High Court on 31 May 2023 after an examinership bid was dismissed.

Mr Justice Conor Dignam appointed Damien Murran and Julian Moroney of Teneo Restructuring Ireland as joint liquidators to the Irish-registered aircraft and shipping leasing firms.

The companies are Russian state-owned and were described as worth an estimated €4.11 billion. The court heard their deficit was over US$1 billion.
