Glenda Gilson gets five-year company director restriction order
This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.
Glenda Gilson received a five-year conditional restriction order under the Companies Acts at the High Court on 13 November 2015. The order prevents her becoming a company director unless the company has paid-up share capital of at least €63,000.
Mr Justice Paul Gilligan said the court accepted that Gilson played no active role in the business, did not act dishonestly and had been deceived by her brother Damien Gilson. However, the court found she had failed to maintain proper standards by taking no interest in the affairs of the company.
