Further remand in custody for man accused of sexual assaults in Louth district park
The Drogheda IndependentA 49-year-old man charged with sexually assaulting a woman in Dundalk has been further remanded in custody.
The defendant, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared via video link at the district court on Wednesday when he had the assistance of an interpreter.
He is accused of two counts of sexual assault at Muirhevnamór Park, Dundalk, on August 1, 2025.
The man had been refused bail when brought before a special court sitting.
Judge Stephanie Coggans remanded him in custody to October 15 via video link for DPP directions.
