Dr Fiona Grant lost her argument over the rent for her Stepaside medical clinic in the High Court, in a judgment reported on 3 July 2024.

Mr Justice Anthony Barr found that Grant was incorrect to argue that annual rent was €29,000 rather than €50,000, and that no rent review took place in 2014. The landlord, Gradual Investments Ltd, had brought proceedings over the rent for the clinic at the Village in Stepaside, Dublin.

The temporary injunction Grant obtained in 2023 against the landlord entering or re-entering the premises remained in place at least until the case next came before the court, the report said.
