This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Eric Norton was jailed for five and a half years after admitting drug offences and taking part in a burglary at a Tesco store in Adamstown, where goods worth €89,000 were stolen. Judge Martin Nolan ordered his two year and three and a half year sentences to run consecutively.

The court heard that undercover gardaí bought drugs from Norton on three occasions after he advertised drugs on Snapchat. A later search of a flat linked to him uncovered diazepam, cannabis and ketamine valued at just under €7,500. During the Tesco burglary, Norton and three others entered through an open shutter while a fire test was underway and loaded phones, razors and cigarettes into a van. CCTV, DNA evidence and images of the stolen goods on his phone linked him to the burglary.
