The High Court ordered Twitter to disclose details of accounts involved in alleged defamation claims by Aoife Moore and Allison Morris, in a ruling on 5 December 2022.
Justice Mark Sanfey granted disclosure concerning the Barbara J Pym account for both reporters, and the Northern Whig account for Morris. He declined to order disclosure about the Dolly White account or retweets, and said the ruling did not determine whether any posts were defamatory.
Eoghan Harris accepted that he alone was behind the Barbara J Pym account, but denied the defamation claims. The judge adjourned the remaining disclosure applications against Harris until after Twitter supplied the ordered information.
