Master Edmund Honohan struck out Havbell Designated Activity Company’s possession summons in the High Court, reported on 15 February 2017, because its papers were not in order.

He said stamp duty had not been paid on documents transferring loan portfolios and questioned whether funds were using an exemption to reduce tax bills. The properties involved were investment properties in Dublin, secured against loans acquired by Havbell.
