The High Court case seeking to make Edenmore Meats directors personally liable for €2.7 million in company debts was settled, the Irish Times reported on 10 May 2024.

Liquidator John Healy had sought orders against Donal Gallagher, Richard Burke and Robert Daly, including personal liability for the debts and disqualification from acting as company directors or officers for at least five years. The directors opposed the applications and denied wrongdoing.

The confidential settlement followed out-of-court discussions. The parties consented to the matter being struck out, and the judge welcomed its resolution.
