Edenmore Farm Meats Ltd was joined as a notice party in a High Court dispute over its Lifford meat plant on 29 November 2016. The company’s 55 employees were not working after alleged threats and intimidation linked to a sit-in involving the premises’ owners and an AIB-appointed receiver.
The receiver was seeking orders to prevent interference with efforts to run and dispose of the plant while AIB pursued debts linked to three properties. Mr Justice Paul Gilligan adjourned the matter to the following week.
