Eamonn Murphy ordered to suspend crisis pregnancy website

By Eimear Byrne

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Eamonn Murphy was subject to a temporary High Court injunction on 15 February 2019 over a misleading crisis pregnancy website, according to the Irish Examiner.

The order prevents him, or anyone under his control, from using www.myoptions.website or another website using “my options” until further order. The HSE says the site was confusingly similar to its My Options service; Murphy denies wrongdoing.

The judge said the order addressed immediate and clear confusion, while Murphy remained free to operate the lawful service he had provided since the 1990s. The matter was due back before the court in two weeks.
