This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Dublin residents recommenced a High Court case over alleged construction damage to their homes, with permission granted on 9 October 2019 to serve proceedings on the defendants. The residents, from O’Reilly Avenue, Ceannt Fort and Mount Brown, claim works on the National Children’s Hospital caused movement to their houses.

The case is against the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board and BAM Civil Limited. The residents previously sought an injunction and other orders, while the renewed proceedings followed negotiations that had resolved an earlier case on undisclosed terms. The matter was made returnable for a Friday sitting.
