Drumderry Aggregate ordered to hand over school certificates

By Aoife Loughran

This report is a localnews.ie summary based on public court reporting and records; sources are listed below.

Drumderry Aggregate Ltd was ordered to hand over flooring certificates by the High Court on 10 November 2017.

The certificates relate to work on the St Conleth’s College extension in Newbridge, Co Kildare.

Mr Justice Michael Twomey made the injunction after K & J Townmore Construction Ltd brought proceedings against the subcontractor.

Drumderry’s representatives opposed the application, citing concerns that the building was severely compromised on health and safety grounds.

The judge said Drumderry was responsible only for certifying its own work and that other certificates had already been provided.

The company’s managing director said he was complying under duress while investigations into the documents continued.
