The Director of Public Prosecutions has decided not to seek a third trial of former Custom House Capital manager Ciara Kelleher. In Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, the prosecutor said a nolle prosequi could be entered, dismissing the charge against her.
Two juries had failed to reach a verdict in her case. Kelleher, who denied conspiring to defraud CHC investors, clients and customers by misleading them about the location of their assets, had faced one charge relating to alleged offences between October 2008 and July 2011.
