Jason McLaughlin sentenced for oral rape of 14-year-old

Jason McLaughlin, of Cashel, Gleneely, Co Donegal, was 16 when he committed oral rape of a 14-year-old girl in January 2022.

He pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court and received two and a half years, with the final 18 months suspended for one year.

The case was recorded in December 2025.
