Companies operating Dobbins and Becketts Hotel entered examinership after the High Court confirmed Kieran Wallace as examiner, reported on 26 July 2016. The businesses, which employ about 60 people, sought protection because of cash-flow difficulties linked to lost contracts and historic bank debt. The court confirmed Mr Wallace’s appointment to Dobbins Wine Bistro Ltd, Dobbins Holding Company Ltd, Camrue Holding Company Ltd and Camrue Catering Ltd. The examiner is expected to examine concerns raised by Revenue and KBC Bank, while a proposed restructuring includes revised bank debt, creditor payments and additional investment.
